Why am I starting this Brand?

I want to serve others by spreading the importance of mental health. I want to express how impactful mental health is and how people are not in this fight alone. People constantly suffer in silence each and every day feeling lost in their thoughts due to diminishing mental health. So I want to remind people it’s okay and that they are not alone in their battles, it's okay to seek help. Self-care is important and show to be prioritized that “YOU MATTER”. I want to provide a voice and spark many people like others who have sparked me (enlightened me). I want to create a platform where people can share their stories and seek strength to conquer their pain and traumas.
Mental health affects everyone in everyday life but consider that people react differently to emotions and feelings.

Personally, I suffer from mental illnesses. My name is Halle Idowu. I was born in Chicago Illinois, I am from Calumet Park Illinois. I was a women’s basketball player at the University of Toledo and ended up transferring to Northeastern University in the Spring of 2022. I am 21 years old and this past year (March 2023) I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. Although this journey has been challenging, I learned to embrace the journey, including my mental health issues and imperfections. Dealing with mental health issues was very exhausting and there was a point where I thought I was defeated. But many people in my life reminded me of how much strength I have just by expressing myself and being vulnerable about my feelings and emotions.
